What a public multichain swap reveals on-chain, and when to use a shielded account instead.

Public route

Multichain swaps use best-price routing through your own wallet. Quotes are compared across LI.FI, Relay, and Mayan, and the highest guaranteed output is preselected. Vaelun never holds your funds; you connect and sign, the routing provider handles the rest.

Visible on-chain

  • Your address and the recipient address.
  • Tokens and exact amounts.
  • The route and its settlement transactions.

This is normal for any public DEX or bridge; it is listed here so the boundary with shielded activity stays explicit.

Need privacy?

When shield capability is live, shielded accounts keep amounts and history off the public chain, with selective disclosure when you choose. Set one up from the dashboard, then use the private swap surface instead of the public one.
