Code of conduct

The standards expected of everyone participating in the Vaelun project.

Code of Conduct

Our pledge

We as contributors and maintainers pledge to make participation in this project a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

Our standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment:

  • Demonstrating empathy and kindness toward others.
  • Being respectful of differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences.
  • Giving and gracefully accepting constructive feedback.
  • Focusing on what is best for the community and the project.

Examples of unacceptable behavior:

  • Harassment, insulting/derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks.
  • Public or private harassment.
  • Publishing others' private information without explicit permission.
  • Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate.

Enforcement responsibilities

Maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing standards and will take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any behavior they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all project spaces and in public spaces when an individual is representing the project or its community.

Enforcement

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported privately to the maintainers through the repository's GitHub Security Advisories form ("Report a vulnerability" on the Security tab), which accepts private reports of any kind and is monitored. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.
